Job Description
1. Assist farm supervisor for the following jobs:-
• Grouping of the dairy herd (Milking, Dry, Heifers).
• Regular inventory.
• Dry off cows.
• Arrangement of animals for vaccination.
• Arrangement of approved culled animals for sale.
• Loading pf sold animals and follow up their records and document of sale.
2. Assigned duties.
• Check up round in the yards for observation of general health of the herd, yards condition and performance of yard mans.
• Regular inventory of total numbers/yard compared to total capacity of the yards.
• Identification of animals (Replace, Missed number and Correction of unclear number).
• Identification of heifers transferred to cows.
• Regular adjustment of total numbers of the cows in delivery yard, dry pregnant cows and pregnant heifers.
• Regular isolation of confirmed pregnancy from heifers and dry cows.
Secondary Technician
Managed by farm Supervisor and farm Manager.
Duty time in Noon and Nighttime.
• Observation of performance of personnel of all departments.
• To inform Manager dairy supervisor and supervisors of different department about any problems, breakdown and other observation in different location.
• Direct contact with Manager in case of emergencies.
• To perform any job or follow up of any duties instructed by farm Manager or Supervisor of different department.

4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Description Performance Indicators

Feeding Operation:

•Receiving feed rations from all project
•Measures on them include all items in daily reports.
•Issue match and quality reports on all delivered items.
•Control of feed losses.
•Machinery and Equipments.

•Timely feeding operation.
•Refuse <3.5%.
•Losses < 1 %.
•Readiness for feeding operation.

Records:

•Follow and direct all delivered forages for direct feeding or storage and computer inventory.
•Confirm what stored feed is in order and covered when stored.
•Computer ready action lists print out.

Workers Management:-
•Leadership and steering of the daily working operation.
•Smooth daily operation

General work:
•Check daily report of stored coarse feeds.
•Because dispatch item depends on seniority of delivery and confirm stored amount.

5. JOB CONTEXT;

•Co-operate with the dairy farms managers
•Co-operate with the dairy farms teamwork and feeding centre related actions.
•Monthly inventory and to be confirmed with main stores.
•Amount dispatched to dairies to be include in daily report.
•Report any defect in stored items. Items to be enough for six months.
•Follow service and operations of loading and unloading equipments.
•Check regularly attendance of feeding center employees.
•Perform any duties given to you by feeding manager.
•What concern concentrated feed?
•Follow delivered concentrated feed from all companies and projects and unload them.
•Check the delivered concentrate against required standards for them.
•Issue quality reports of delivered items.
•Check daily reports against quality and amount.
•Check directed feed for either direct feeding or storage.
•Check mixing of concentrated feed against central lab result.
•Regular follow up of mixing programs with feeding manager.
•Regular checking the expiry dates of ration ingredients.
•Old delivery should be used first during mixing be sure feed items are stored in their specified stores.
•Regularly check that stores are needy and free from foreign bodies.
•After storage feed should be covered.
•Follow dispatch from forage stores and to be matching with the programs.
•Regular covering of the trucks leaving the center to dairy farms.
•Regular check of daily report amounts of concentrate dispatch and its amounts.
•Check quality of storage weather in shades or covered.
•Report any deficit in stored items these items are supposed to be enough for three month.
•Open scalar bags for feed in use.
•Follow work programs in the centre.
•Perform monthly inventory and compare with main stores.
•Follow service and operation of loading and unloading equipments.
•Check regularly attendance of employee.
•Perform any work given to you by feeding manager.
•Follow operation of barley and yellow corn flakers and report regularly any damage to them.
•Regularly follow up of silos unit and report any problems.
•Regular follow up of operation and service of central feeding equipments and report any problems.

Duty Assignment-
Feeding of the animals in the farm according to available feeding program.
•Operator of Yard Cleaning
Duty Assignment-
Clean different yards in the farm. Remove manure, spread sand in the yards.
•Operator of Dairy Cleaning
Duty Assignment-
Clean different department of dairy and disposed waste.
Cleaning of water troughs and addition of limestone.
•Drivers:-

•Coaster Drivers.
Duty Assignment-
Transport of farm workers from camp to dairy and vice versa.
•Driver of Milk Truck
Duty Assignment-
•Transfer (Load) Raw Milk from the farm to processing plants and recording quantities of transferred Row Milk daily.
•CIP of truck tank at least twice daily check cleaning and CIP residual water in transfer hoses.
•Separate loading of vaccinated milk to be transferred to processing with co-ordination of milking parlor's supervisor.
General duties of Operators and Drivers.
•Daily check of vehicles and cars regard the followings.
•Oil levels (Engine, Hydraulic and Break).
•Water level in redactors.
•Visual air pressure in the tires.
•Cleaning of vehicles by water and pressured air.

•Push feed and removed of foreign materials the feeds.
